A plum cake is a typical British elongated cake that normally accompanies a cup of tea. Traditionally it is filled with fruits or raisins although you can also fill it with your favourite ingredients.
To make a plum cake, you need a special plum cake mold. IBILI kitchenware has a wide range of plum cake moulds.
Our new and improved collection of Nonstick steel molds is the Golden Class collection, to which we have also added a mold type plum cake. This collection has a careful, current and modern design. The moulds are golden, extra strong and resistant. This is our best collection of anti-stick steel moulds for domestic and professional use. Silicone moulds are becoming increasingly more popular in the baking industry. For this reason IBILI incorporates a full collection of silicone moulds. Our Blueberry collection, in addition to being manufactured using 100% silicone, is able to withstand a maximum temperature of 230º and a minimum of -60º. These moulds are suitable for use in microwaves, ovens and dishwashers. They are highly practical and easy to unmould. The collection includes two sizes of the plum cake molds; 1.4 and 2.3 litres.
The Moka collection, which is manufactured in steel sheet metal, includes the plum cake mould with an extra detachable base. This is the only model that has an extra base that is also detachable so that once the plum cake mould is ready to be pulled out of the oven, it can be easily unmoulded. An item that is still not found on the market is plum cake moulds with cap. In addition to aluminum molds nonstick, IBILI also incorporates the plum cake mold to the Kristall collection. The mould is manufactured in glass and is available in 3 sizes; 1.0, 1.5 and 2.2 litres. Some of the models of plum cake molds we have are built in one piece. They are perfect when using very liquid doughs since they are completely sealed.
