Piping Bags
The piping bag is a kitchen accessory that consists in a cloth, fabric, nylon, polyester or silicone, sewn to make a funnel with a tip at the end. The form, material and size of the piping bag vary for the dessert and decoration.
Piping bags are kitchen accessories that are used to decorate sweets like biscuits, pies, cupcakes or cakes with whipped cream, meringue or chocolate. The tip must be properly inserted in the pastry bag´s thin opening. We recommend covering it with a tip for piping bags so that the filling or whatever preparation does not come out before starting to decorate. Afterwards, with the use of a spatula, fill it with the desired amount of cream. You can also use an adaptor to be able to comfortably change the tip and make different decorations with the same bag.
